Vending machines in Japan are a big thing. In the US the vending machines are usually limited to bags of snacks and sodas/waters. In Japan they've got machines out in the middle of the street that sell hot or cold brew coffee and tea, the typical soda machines, ones dedicated to beer, and single serve packets of ice cream. Those are just the typical ones you can see. The more out there ones involve Buddhist amulets, different types of toys (some adult themed), and puppies, believe it or not. The vending machines and even all the 7-Elevens and Lawsons are there in the name of convenience.
I wanted to make some reference to this by putting a vending machine in the front entrance of the dojo. Pocari Sweat is a brand that's like lemon flavored IV fluid. It's really great for replenishing the electrolytes after several hours of practice. Anyway, here it is:
